    Executive Director

    Steve is a successful entrepreneur, founding businesses including the University of Michigan’s Center for Entrepreneurship; the UCSF Dyslexia Center, and Point Cypress Ventures. He is a Commissioner of the California Mental Health Commission. His current focus on Brain Capital explores how biological neuroscience can unlock the potential of companies and countries.

  • Bethany Jana, MPH

    Vice President of Strategic Development

    Bethany is an experienced project manager with special interests and expertise at the intersection of public health, education, and sustainability. She has managed numerous qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research projects on topics ranging from child nutrition and child care policy to teacher health/wellness and sustainable diets.

  • Shannon Morin

    Chief Administrator

    Shannon is a seasoned Executive Administrator with more than 30 years in the field. She has served as a tactical and strategic aid with extensive experience in administrative roles to CEO’s. Her responsibilities ranged from coordination of all Board of Director activities and annual investor meetings, administration of contracts, administrative support manager, investor relations, accounting and human resources.

  • Sally Dancer

    BOARD MEMBER

    Sally is a former partner and senior expert at McKinsey & Company’s Marketing and Sales practice group. She was instrumental in developing cutting edge research applications in North America and leading expansion globally, working with senior executives to establish and sustain these pioneering approaches. She has served as a board member for various non-profits.

  • Meg Small, PhD

    BOARD MEMBER

    Meg Small is the Director of Social Innovation at Penn State’s Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center and Director of the Impact Incubator, one of four cores in the Evidence to Impact Collaborative accelerating research impact through cross-sector partnerships. She has consulted for companies like Build-a-Bear, Kellogg, and Disney and previously worked with the CDC, WHO, and the White House Council on Youth Violence. Dr. Small holds a PhD in Community and Public Health.

  • Sean Griffin

    MARKETING RESEARCH & OPERATIONS ANALYST

    Sean, a born and raised Pittsburgh yinzer, is pursuing a Marketing degree with a minor in Management Information Systems at PSU. His passion for business and marketing sparked during his high school years as president of Future Business Leaders of America. A strong advocate for community service, Sean has actively contributed to initiatives like the Penn State Dance Marathon and local church projects, such as Night to Shine, an unforgettable prom night experience for locals with special needs.

  • Enjie Joseph

    HEALTH POLICY SPECIALIST

    Enjie is a Health Policy Administration student at PSU and serves as an ambassador for Penn State’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion. Her journey from Haiti and her experience as a pharmaceutical technician has strengthened her passion for healthcare, while her studies have deepened her understanding of health policies. She believes that wellness extends beyond the body, encompassing the nourishment of the soul through art, poetry, and laughter

  • Amber Sanchez

    PUBLIC HEALTH RESEARCHER

    Amber is a passionate Biobehavioral Health student, pursuing a career in Public Health. She serves on the board of Global Medical Brigades as the local initiatives chair coordinating and participating in service events throughout the community. Amber thrives in diverse settings and enjoys traveling to engage in cultural experiences. Her global experiences have shaped her mindset on her life and career and ultimately drives her to help others.

  • Declan Harper

    PR SPECIALIST

    Declan is a third-year student pursuing his bachelor's degree in public relations with minors in digital media trends and analytics and global and international studies. He is also earning a certificate through the Smeal College of Business. Declan’s mission is to help others using his skillset which he has demonstrated through his involvement raising money through Penn State’s Thon and as an Account Associate with Happy Valley Communications.

  • Haylea Maceiko

    PR & SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

    Haylea is a driven fourth-year student pursuing a degree in Public Relations with a minor in Digital Media Trends and analytics (DMTA) and Psychology. She is currently serving as the Director of Graphical Design and Marketing for Her Campus at Penn State and the Vice President for Penn State's chapter of PRSSA. She is passionate about strengthening her networking, learning valuable information about PR, improving her digital storytelling skills and giving back to her community.

  • Eric Chou

    FULL-STACK SOFTWARE ENGINEER

    Eric is a software engineer with a strong focus on Software Development and AI-Driven Development. As a full-stack software engineering intern at the SPARC Foundation, Eric is developing applications that enhance team effectiveness in the workplace by measuring and improving wellbeing and performance. His educational background from PSU, combined with his professional experience at Intel, empowers him to blend technical expertise with practical applications to create impactful solutions. Eric's goal? To engineer environments where both keyboards and smiles are equally responsive.

    Taranveer is a full-stack software Engineer from Easton, PA, specializing in creating seamless user experiences and powerful backend systems. Fluent in English and Punjabi, with a touch of Hindi, Taranveer’s multicultural background enhances his ability to develop inclusive, innovative solutions. A passionate Lakers fan and basketball enthusiast, Taranveer combines his technical expertise with a collaborative spirit, driving impactful results that resonate with both users and teams. His mission? To engineer digital landscapes where both interfaces and interactions are effortlessly engaging.
